Dan Yeager

Founder and President

Dan began missions work throughout Asia in 2002. It was because of his burden for the orphaned and disadvantaged children there that A Heart for Children was formed. Over the years, Dan has lived and worked in rural indigenous communities with an unwavering commitment to raising awareness and establishing support partnerships to bring positive change in children's lives. Dan is most at home when he is interacting with the children as if they were his own.

“Without purpose, life is trivial and without substance. We are caretakers of all things on earth. Your generosity gives these children hope in the goodness of Christ and mankind.”

“So let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds”. Hebrews 10:24

Gary has accepted the role of Vice President & Director of Organizational Development. He is a retired Internal Medicine physician and researcher whose experience as Chief Medical Officer for large and small corporations has equipped him to help AHFC build on its sound organizational foundation. Gary and Barbara have supported AHFC from its beginning. She has long been led to help others, especially children. Since her trip to Bali to dedicate Michael’s Home she has become even more passionate about AHFC’s work. She is amazed how much AHFC can accomplish with even the smallest donations.

Hartati (Tati) Yeager

Director of Bali Ministries

Tati is the heart and soul of our operations in Bali. Her linguistic ability and knowledge of the many indigenous cultures, plus her 13 years working in a Balinese Christian Orphanage of 157 children as a live in care giver, cook, accountant, mother, referee and psychologist, has equipped her perfectly for this position, which she has held since 2011. Thank you to all our volunteers at AHFC and to all our friends in the USA who support AHFC in Bali. "It has always been my dream to help children and elderly people."

Putri Yani

Assistant Director of Bali Ministries

Putri was orphaned at birth and raised by her struggling grandparents, who could not afford to send her to High School. She came to live in AHFC’s orphanage in 2012 and soon became a big sister & mentor to the younger children. At 18, she began her 4 years of study at a local University, graduating with Highest Honors in their Accounting Degree Program. Putri has been employed in the Accounting Department at a Christian Hospital in Denpasar, Bali for the past two years.
